For those who prefer to paddle at their own pace, kayak rentals are available at our Rental Center (aka, the "boat barn") in the Rocky River Reservation in Lakewood, Ohio.  

Our rental center offers direct access to the Rocky River and Lake Erie.  We have a selection of stable light touring boats from P&H Kayaks, Venture Kayaks, and Necky Kayaks available for rental by the hour.  Sea kayaks are available for full-day reservations only.

Kayak rentals are available beginning Memorial Day weekend through October.

Summer hours (Memorial Day to August 20) are: Wednesday-Friday from 10am-4pm and Saturday & Sunday from 9am-6pm.

Our Fall hours(August 21 to October 1) are: Saturday & Sunday from 9am-6pm, weather and Lake conditions permitting.

Reservations are accepted. Just call us at 1-866-529-2541 to request boats. If you have a reservation, we do ask that you show up 10 minutes prior to your reservation start time to review safety guidelines, sign waivers, and get fitted for equipment. Please note that we will not hold kayaks if you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation.
